Mrs. Anthonia Jeyanathan passed away peacefully at
Elizabeth Knox Home and Hospital, Auckland,New Zealand on the 18th of October 2017.

Anthonia was born on the 11th June 1936, in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka to Sebastiampillai and Sebamalai. She served as a teacher of Tamil at St Theresa's Convent (Batticaloa), St Mary's College (Trincomalee) and retired from service in 1985 after teaching at St Joseph's College, Trincomalee.
Anthonia is the beloved wife of Sevastianpillai Jeyanathan; loving mother of Immaculata Christopher Williams & Dr. Hilary Jeyaranjan; mother-in-law of Johnpillai Christopher Williams & Dr. Shanthi Jeyaranjan and much loved grand-mother of Allen Christopher Williams, Arun Christopher Williams & Dr Thivya Jeyaranjan.
Visitation will be from 2.00 p.m until 4.00 p.m on Sunday, 22 October 2017 at Davis Funerals, 400 Dominion Road, Mt Eden, Auckland.
A requiem mass for Anthonia will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Banff Avenue, Epsom on Wednesday, the 25th of October at 11.00 am and will be followed by a private cremation.
